....and the Fun Continues

Well, I have been dealing with a myriad of things that have kept me from finishing my hurricane story, but I will resume that asap.

Apparently I have carpal tunnel or some sort of repetitive stress bullshit in my mouse finger - the middle finger that rolls the scroll button. I thought it was arthritis when it started hurting before I left for the Coast, but it's just continued to worsen, culminating with me finally breaking down to purchase a pair of metal shears to cut my ring off after it got so swollen that I thought I might have to get it amputated.

It's been difficult typing, packing orders, and doing practically everything else. Even hard to brush my teeth as I am totally not coordinated with the left hand.

Oh well, guess that is part of getting older. At least it's not as bad as what my 10 year old dog, Mecca, seems to have happening to her. This week she started having trouble getting up the stairs at Jeff's parents house. She doesn't seem to be in pain, but we'll have to get the Vet's opinion before we really know. We have an appointment Monday morning with the vet to have x-rays made to see if it is hip dysplasia or arthritis.

I'm not sure how this dog will handle not being able to run as much.... she has always been a very active pooch with a deer-chasing habit these last several years. She loves being a farm dawg, as she is part black lab, and part American Foxhound.

Anywho, we'll find out next week.
